西门子家庭娱乐通信综合解决方案（Home Entertainment）是全球第一个支持端到端H.264的IPTV解决方案，为普通家庭提供娱乐，通信与增值业务。普通用户通过宽带网络(ADSL)和机顶盒，即可进入多媒体互动服务，享受更大屏幕、更高质量的视觉和听觉效果以及家电式的时尚操作体验。
SIEMENS Home Entertainment is the first E2E H.264 based IPTV solution. It provides entertainment, communication and value added service. Only with ADSL and STB, family users can enjoy interactive multimedia service.
1. 数字电视(DTV)
· 多款直播频道的节目，让你随时随心畅游大千世界。通过遥控器和电子节目菜单（EPG）方便地进行频道选择，观赏高画质的直播内容。
You can watch digital TV channels, shift channels freely via the remote control and EPG menu, enjoying life TV with high quality.
· 支持信息叠加：用户选定频道后，屏幕下方提供频道信息和节目安排
HE supports information overlapping: After certain channel is selected, channel information and program schedule can be provided at the bottom of the screen.
· 机顶盒中的客户端软件降低频道切换的时间：用户可享受和有线电视一样的观看体验。
The client software in STB shortens the time for changing channels to: even if different client applications are used, users can still enjoy the same experience same as cable TV.
2. 视频点播(VoD)
· 用户自由选择观看内容，进行实时互动点播，享受和DVD同样的功能：包括播放、暂停、快进、快退以及直接跳转到电影的特定部分。
It provides the same functions as DVD: including play, pause, FF, REW, as well as directly jumping to certain part of the movie.
· 继续收看未完的点播节目。
You can continue watching the movie that is not finished previously.
· 影片中文搜索
You can search movies in Chinese.
· 提供影片目录和片花以鼓励用户购买影片
You can provide an index of movies and side stories to encourage users purchasing such movies.
3. 时移电视（Time Shifted TV）
· 用户可以自主控制实时电视节目的快进、快退、暂停、播放，获得如收看VOD一般的自在感受。
You can pause, FF, REW and play when watching life TV, as freely as watching VOD.
4. 电视节目回看（TV of yesterday）
· 用户可以观看昨天的电视节目：通过EPG选择由运营商事先录制好的电视节目和电影。
You can watch TV of yesterday: via EPG, end users can select TV programs and movies recorded by the carrier in advance.
5. 个人录像机(PVR)
· 海量的网络存储空间，保证终端用户可以录制各类感兴趣的节目，保证不错过任何精彩内容。
The mass storage in network assures users all kinds of contents they are interested in.
6. 信息服务(Information service)
· 通过电视浏览网页内容，获取丰富信息：天气预报，交通，新闻，餐饮等等。
You can browse web contents on TV: abundant information is provided, such as weather forecast, traffic, news, meal etc.
7. 游戏(Gaming)
· 休闲游戏平台为您带来丰富多彩的休闲游戏:俄罗斯方块，华容道。工作学习之余，放松一下，休闲一刻。
· Gaming platform bring you colorful games：Tetris, Chinese Sliding Bolck, Reversi etc.
8. 用户自管理和家长控制功能 (Parent control)
· 对用户的账户进行配置并浏览相关参数：浏览交易记录，可以为用户提供包括点播和收看付费业务在内的至少30天的滚动历史购买记录。
After configuring the user account and browse relevant parameters, users can browse the transaction records and the purchasing records in the past 30 days, including VOD, watching premium services on time, etc.
· 设置家长控制功能，防止不健康内容在EPG中出现。
Parents can set multi-level control to prevent the restricted contents displayed on EPG.
